Rock ‘n Roll Widow – Wishbone Ash

Wishbone Ash’in ilk dönemlerinde verdikleri konserlerinden birisinde bir kaza olur ve grup bu olay üzerine bir parça yazar.
1971 yılında Wishbone Ash, The Guess Who ve Nazareth gruplarıyla bir konser dizisine başlar. Austin, Teksas’ta başlayan konser dizisi yılbaşına kadar sürecek ve yılbaşı gecesi New York’ta bir konser sonrası bitecektir. Toplamda 34 konser veren Wishbone Ash başladığı konser turuna bir kaza ile başlar.
Kaza, Austin, Teksas’ta gerçekleşir. Konser sırasında Kübalı bir öğrenci olan 32 yaşındaki Francisco Carrasco hotdog satmaktadır. Ne için öfkeli olduğu bilinmeyen bir seyirci tarfından ateş açılması sonucu konser sırasında ölür. Bunun üzerine olay yerine gelen Polis öldüren kişiyi tutuklar.
İki gün sonra Austin Statesman gazetesi cinayeti Sandviç İçin Vurulmuş Satıcı mı? başlığıyla haber yapar. Olaydan etkilenen davulcu Steve Upton, ‘Rock ‘n Roll Widow’ adlı parçanın sözlerini yazar.
