David Longdon hayata veda etti
Big Big Train’in vokalisti ve multi-enstrümantalist David Longdon bir kaza olarak tanımlanan olayın ardından yatırıldığı hastanede vefat etti.
1965 doğumlu David Longdon, 1996 yılında Genesis grubundan Phil Collins’in ayrılması sonucu vokal seçmelerine katılmıştı, ancak o seçmelerde kazanan Ray Wilson olmuştu. 2009 yılında Big Big Train’e katılan müzisyen, 2010 yılında yayımlanan ‘The Underfall Yard’ albümünde vokal rolünü üstlenmişti.
Vokalliğinin yanısıra bir çok enstrümanda performans da sergileyen müzisyen, Big Big Train’in vokalliğinin yanısıra Tangent, The Charlatans, Dave Kerzner ve Steve Hackett gibi isimlerle de çalışmıştı.
2004 yılında ‘Wild River’ adında bir de solo albümü bulunmaktaydı.

In addition, he released an album with the late Judy Dyble under the name Dyble Longdon last year, and he was still in the recording studio the day before his accident. Produced a new personal album David has a huge impact on my life in music and personally, I love him like a brother and I have deeply felt his loss. He is a true creative visionary with extraordinary talent. But most importantly, he is a first-rate, very kind person. His family, friends, BBT band members and staff will miss him very much.’
